Nothing really wonderful in this hotel :rather clean, rather small, rather comfortable... but very well located in the middle of the lively Chinatown. Staff was OK... Try the Machi sold by an old lady at the corner: great !!!

We stayed there for 2 nights in double room no 108 on the first floor. Hotel building is visible from the streets but the entrance is hidden behind the stalls - remember that if you're going to look for it. There's a small reception, staff was OK. We had to pay a returnable deposit of MYR 50 for the room... More

Inexpensive, clean, friendly and in the heart of Chinatown. We based ourselves in KL to travel about Asia for a year because of all the Air Asia deals that can be found from that hub. Stayed at the Chinatown Boutique and it was a bargain. Used the room with the bunk beds because we were with two daughters. Recommend it... More

I stayed there long long ago. But I remember the every bit of it. It was just life saver. Back in 2010 Oct we(with friends) stayed for 2 nights. We are supposed to visit another friend at cyberjaya after getting out of Airport at 12:am but unfortunately he could accommodate us. It was 1:30 am & we were standing at... More

It's worth paying $100, it was the best place I stayed at compared to three budget accommodation. Ask for a window room so I are not feeling boxed in. Room smells good compare to others.. This was the second time I've stayed here. Good for what it is.

We stayed here already for the 2nd time...first time it was great, clean room, nice furniture etc. When we came for the 2nd time, we were a bit dissappointed because the building deteriorated a lot in 4 months time. There were water marks at the walls, sometimes dripping. In our bathroom the ceiling was molding and drenched. Unfortunately, also the... More

First 3 nights stayed in a triple that had two double beds and one bunk bed(!). You could hear something running through the ceiling. Aside from that, it was basic. No windows. Fourth night, stayed in a double and was better overall. The bathrooms are nicely renovated with glass and so is the interior decor. But at the end of... More

i have experience in staying in 3 different budget hotels at chinatown during school holidays( tang's, chinatown inn and this-ranged rm 80-100). chinatown boutique is so far the top of my choices. location is good, service is little below expectation, room and beds are clean except those small bedside corners, lamp, window, aircon are dusty. the walls are not soundproof, can hear people... The location of the hotel is directly at the Chinatown area. The location is near to 3 KL Transit Line. It comes with the basic facilities like a hotel, minus the free mineral water that is provided by other normal hotel. i.e. no provision of in room mineral water. However the room come with a electrical kettle which I am... More
