Stay here for about 2 weeks and found the staff very friendly and welcoming. Hostel is in superb location by the Kuala Lumpur train station and china town and central market. Bedrooms literally only have beds and table in. No plug points in room. Bed covers/ towels clearly not washed but if you take your own its fine. Very cheap so what you'd expect

The best thing about Matahari Lodge is it's location. It's right around the corner from the Pasar Seni MRT station. It takes about a minute to walk from the station to the lodge. Nice and clean rooms + very friendly staff! :) It felt very homely, relaxed and safe.I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely recomend the place! :D BONUS: It was nice and quiet, so I got really good sleep! - They also had free breakfast, kable tv, and a fridge for your food.
