I was there for a conference held right inside the hotel, and I didn't expect much as it's "just" a Ramada. I was dead wrong. Ramada Osaka exceeded my expectations. It's not Hyatt or Westin, but I would say it's one cut above the typical Ramada that you can find in North America.

It's clean, it's in the middle of town and the staff are friendly and polite. Breakfast is plentiful, the beds are comfortable and there is a subway right downstairs. Sure, the rooms are small but I think that's standard for Japan and anyway, when you're in a city like Osaka why would you stay in the room?

Very plain and almost bare hotel. Rooms are outdated. Breakfast buffet was alright, not much fruit selection or breads, coffee was from a machine , yuck!!!! No cheeses other than grated/slivered. Location is close to underground also the main train/bus station Umeda and 7/11 if you need snacks or water.Definitely not a 4 star but 3.

I got a superior room here for around Y10,000 a night. Great value. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Umeda, the northern hub of Osaka, and has direct underground access to the Osaka subway at Nakatsu Station.

Being from the US, my son and I were skeptical to stay at a Ramada. This hotel is NOT like the Ramadas in the US! This hotel was nice and clean. The rooms were neat and modern. The front desk let us check in early which was a wonderful thing!

This room really blew us away when we walked in. It was one of our cheapest stays thanks to Hotels.com yet it was by far the best! The room was big, clean as a whistle and had an amazing view. The staff was very very helpful, they were printing us out maps for anywhere we wanted to go!
