My husband chose this hotel solely for the spacious room and bathroom :-) We took the twin as we are used to sleeping on a king sized bed which is uncommon in Japan unless you stay in a luxury hotel. The room was huge (by Japan standards). The front desk gave us great suggestions for places to eat as well.... More

The location is central and convenient for most Osaka tourist and business activities, only 5 minutes walk from Honmachi subway. The rooms are absolutely standard business hotel rooms: tiny but spotlessly clean, functional (internet, well-appointed bathroom) but characterless, and no-frills (no coffee in room, no mini-bar etc). The only point to note is that the mattress is on the hard... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the start of my trip around Osaka/ Kyoto and Nara. It was a lovely hotel. The staff are very friendly, and everything was very clean and tidy. It was a straight walk into the heart of the food and shopping district. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone contemplating going to... More

We spent about 4 nights at Arietta Hotel, which were recommended by friend. It is indeed very convenient: near to train station, convenient stores/pharmacy, restaurants/cafes around. The surrounding is not too quite or crowded. It's around business area. The staffs are friendly, some of them can communicate well in English. They are very helpful when we asked them for route... We stayed here for 3 nights and it is one of more westernized styled service hotels found in Japan. This is a hotel that's definitely deserving of its travelers' choice award! The rooms were of decent size. There's actually plenty of space to move around after we've placed 3 medium sized luggage in the room. The bed we've gotten was... More

I booked this hotel because I was unable to get a Kyoto hotel during the "Golden Week". I chose Arietta based on the strength of its ratings on Tripadvisor and Hotels.com. Pros ==== - Pretty near Honmachi station along Midosuji line from Shin-Osaka station. - Nicely decorated (resort theme) common areas such as the hotel lobby and internet access corner.... More

Everything about this hotel spells out comfort. What stroke us first was the cute basket left in our room including all types of toiletries and a very comfy yukata. It's good that one doesn't have to worry about such things when staying in Japan (as such stuff was always provided at all hotels we stayed). It was also good that... More

We were only in Osaka for one night but this hotel made us wish we had stayed for more! The room had a really big bathroom, comfortable bed, and good internet. It was so nice and quiet too. Breakfast was also lovely, breads, cereal and drinks. The whole place feels clean, new and modern. Convenience wise, its a great base... More

Arietta is a decent hotel. A few blocks from a subway stop, it's in the middle of a business-ey area, so it's very busy on the weekdays and dead on the weekends. Our room was regular size for Japan, meaning your luggage gets in the way. The bathroom was huge for Japan and very nice. The staff were friendly. A... More

This hotel is in between the main areas of Namba in the south and Kita in the north. A few nice Japanese restaurants and convenience stores in the vicinity of the hotel. Clean but standard cramped Japanese hotel room. One thing about Osaka and Japan in general, it can be very difficult to get around on your own with no... More
