We arrived from Tokyo by train. The hotel is very close by. If you walk slow which we did, it still takes you less than 10 min. Very convenient. In Nagano the hotel is known for weddings and when you enter the hotel you will see why. It features very impressive staircases.

We stayed here for 3 nights while daytripping around Nagano. We booked via a late deals website and when we arrived it transpired that the room we had booked was not in fact available for all three nights. The staff could not have been more helpful or apologetic and almost instantly upgraded us to the best room in the hotel,...
