This hotel is in front of the exit of the station, and there is a convenient store, a family restaurant and Macdonald near form it!! It's convenient and comfortable. The atomosphere is good.
Hotel was pretty much average in just about every way; room was pretty old, as was the bathroom. Nothing special, but clean. Room was pretty dark, but also pretty roomy for Japan.
I didn't dig the location to much...it was easy reachable by subway from Kyoto Station, but the neighborhood isn't to interesting.
