Staff was wonderful, food was delicious. It has a great lounge and rooms were very comfortable and efficient. However: NO WIFI...in 2012...need to fix They have an efficient shuttle service to and from the train station It is a doable but long walk to the market and the shopping street (their 5th ave) Overall very good!

I have used this hotel on various business trips over the past 8 years. Always a friendly welcome, good breakfast and easy transport if you use taxi’s. 10 min by taxi from Kyoto station. A quite location ideal if your just spent 20 hours travelling. Reasonable price for a business traveller.
