I felt this was very good value for the money. The rooms were on the small side (like almost all Japanese business hotels) but the location was excellent as it was only a little bit off the main road and very close to the bus stops where you can ride to the temples and other attractions. The staff is very... More

The hotel is very easy to find. It's just behind Kawaramachi station. Location of the hotel is excellent as you have access to 2 subway stations and bus stops just a stone throw away. It's also located only a few minutes walk away from Gion where there are lots of restaurants. The room isn't that spacious as there was a... More

Great location right in the middle of Kyoto's shopping area, 10minute walk to Gion and Higashiyama, with Kiyomizu not far at all. The hotel itself is a little hard to get to initially as its on a street with no car access. Once you know where it is its very convenient to get back to. The hotel is super clean... More

I booked this hotel via their website and it took a while to get it finalised due to language barriers but I'm glad things worked out! Our taxi driver (from Kyoto Station) did not know exactly where the hotel was so dropped us off at the entrance of Shin-Kyogoku shopping arcade. We asked the police "koban" where Super Hotel was.... Budeget is always a concern when travelling around Japan. Kyoto is a lovely city with an irresistable charm. It is also a very expensive city to spend time at. It was with great delight to stay in this ultra-modern hotel at a reasonable price of JPY8K per night for a single room. The room was clean, rather tiny but comfy... More

Reservations were done over the phone since we wanted to book 1 room for triple sharing. No down payments whatsoever. They immediately sent a confirmation number and a week prior to the booked dates, they sent another email asking for confirmation. We booked at this hotel for 2 nights and loved everything about it! Prior to the trip, I printed... More

I stayed here two years ago and loved it. Said that, decided to go back on this second trip to beautiful Japan. This place has excellent customer service and excellent value (we booked through their website and everything works like a breeze). It has a lovely Onsen, although the hours for the men are not the best. Buffet breakfast is... More

This was a bargain at 8,500yen a night (we went all weeknights, off-season). Yes, it is very Japan-sized (read: small), with an equally tiny bathroom. The price makes up for it. GREAT location. We were within easy walking distance to both Kawaramachi and Shijo, which are two different train/subway lines. We walked to the Gion district each night we were... More

I love being in the city center...i hate taking subways back to the hotel after tiring day. I also love shopping and hate carrying all those shopping bags back to the hotel. Well. this hotel made sure I wouooldn't have to do that. I was surrounded by department stores..and 5 min walk to all the bars in kyoto! the subway... More
