We have stayed there for 5 nights and we really liked it. The hotel has a good location, you can easily reach the "shopping center" in a 15/20 min walk. It is on a busy street, but if you ask for a back street room, you will sleep like a baby (and I am peaky). Another good thing is the... more
My wife and I decided to stay here after looking at the reviews posted on Trip Advisor, we aim to stay on something budget but clean and comfortable. Once again, were not dissapointed. When I was organizing accommodation options for Kyoto, I found that both Western Hotels and ryokans seemed overpriced compared to other places in Japan.
