For some reason I've avoided staying at Crowne Plazas for many years. In the last six weeks, I've stayed at Crownes in Hiroshima and Amsterdam -- and both have been excellent. The Crowne in Amsterdam has a great location. Easy walking distance to many prime tourist locations (and those beyond walking distance can easily be reached by trolley or cab).... more

Stayed for 2 nights in Hiroshima. Walked from station which is about 40min walk (with cases) or you can get the streetcar there. The room was good. The ANA Crowne Plaza Hiroshima is just a few blocks from many tourist attractions, including the Hiroshima Castle, Hiroshima Peace Park, Atomic Bomb Museum, Hiroshima Carp Baseball Stadium, and SOGO Department Store. The location of the hotel is excellent - about 500m walk to the peace park & 100m to the closest tram (trolley bus) stop. The walk to the restaurant district was about 10 mins from the hotel room. Well located, easy access by streetcar from the train station, only a few minutes walk to the peace park, and lots of restaurants within a few blocks. The breakfast buffet (with both Japanese and western foods) was very nice. Rooms very spacious and quiet, good amenities. I loved the Sleep Advantage products! more

The hotel is very close to the a-bomb memorial park. You just have to cross the bridge. The hotel staff is very friendly and willing to help. The room was great. Stayed 2 nights in May09 and found this hotel excellent, can walk to shopping area and the A bomb peace memorial. We booked room including breakfast and it was very nice with a Japanese garden viewed from the breakfast room. Service was good. Recommend this hotel highly. more
