We stayed for two nights in the beginning of July. The twin beds and sofa bed were more than enough for us (two adults, two children, 11 & 7). Clean, stylish rooms, good service in English. Breakfast has both Japanese and Western fare, would recommend the Japanese stuff. Bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs were pretty weak, whereas e.g. steamed meatball... More

We (2 adults and 2 young children) went to Sapporo for Ice festival for 3 nights and stayed in a standard room. It is located just below Susukino area where many bars and restaurants are located which is very good for dinning out. As advertised, the room was very small and had 2 single beds just enough to sleep with... More

This hotel is very good. The location is great. A bit out of town, but next to a park. We enjoyed playing in the snow and not having far to go to get warm again. The reastaurant area had a beautiful view of the snow. The Teppanyaki restaurant is very expensive. The service was immaculate, but the food did seem... More

Made a booking over the internet. When checking-in all booking details were wrong. Staff put my young children (9 and 2) in another floor. When finally got the correct family room after 2 room changes staff charged extra for the 1st room change. Paid an extra 10,000 Yen for 3 nights. Was in no mood to argue with the staff... More

We stayed here during the start of the Yuki Matsuri (Snow Festival) and found a great deal online compared to what you would normally pay. I stayed with my partner but due to full occupancy we could only get a twin room- at least they provided a non-smoking floor. Check in was good with staff who speak fair English- as... More

The rooms are small but clean. The service is very professional. And the location is great for kids. There is a big park behind the hotel with a pond and ducks and lots of trails. A short walk through the park takes you to the subway station and the snow festival site of Suskino and Odori are two or three... More

A great hotel with a very accommodating and friendly staff. The location near Nakajima Park isuiet, but the free shuttle makes it easy to get to places such as Odori Park, the Sussikino entertainment area and the Sapporo JR Station. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. One suggestion would be to keep the window drapes closed, otherwise it may... More

This is the first Novotel Hotel I have been disappointed with. I am a loyal follower of Accor group Hotels (Manily Sofitel and Novotel brands). The lack of English by the Reception staff, the extremely small room, the condition of the room, lack of a reasonable restaurant for dinner and the location all led to a disappointing stay. Due to...
