Very nice hotel and very convenient to West Lake (four blocks away). Very clean large room with king size bed. Bathroom also very nice with shower and tub. I found this hotel to be a bit tired. Not dirty, but not clean if you know what I'm saying. Heating and A/C system wasn't working very well on a cold january day. Bed was rock hard. TV was really small and old. Rooms did what they had to do to meet the "4 star" criteria, but I agree.. they... more

Scouring the net for some hotel recommendations in Hangzhou, Ctrip.com and Lonely planet seems to favour this hotel. So I decided to follow the advice and book the RMB518 per night deluxe room (just to be safe instead of the standard or superior rooms).
