Not a good choice as a host hotel for an international conference. Lobby area doesn't have adequate space for informal gatherings. Room decor a bit on the old side. Non-smoking rooms are furnished with ashtrays and matches. Lack of English speaking hotel staff is not ordinarily an issue, but for an international conference, it made things more difficult.
