Great hostel if you are passing through town. Central location, very organized, we booked our tickets to Dali through them no problem, bed was very comfy. We stayed in a double, so cannot vouch for dorms, but our room was far away from the action, very quiet. FYI had no ac, but fan was sufficient. With free beers and a... More

Pros: Staff were excellent. Great service in all areas. Roof top patio was a fabulous place to unwind at the end of the day and have dinner from quite an extensive menu. Free wifi in part of the public area. Cons: Very, very noisy. Street noise was immense! Walls must have been paper thin as the man next door snored... More

This hostel is in the perfect location in downtown with easy access to anything you want. The outdoor patio is the perfect place for a coffee in the morning or a drink for happy hour. However, the loud stereotypical "backpacker" (chain smoker, drunk, loud, obnoxious, and always bragging) dominates the evening scene making it less enjoyable to stay in the... More

Good: location; close to modern shopping areas and people; easy to find Bad: non-airconditioned rooms; open windows; plenty of mosquitoes (received 3 massive bites); burning mosquito incense in the room (cannot tolerate due to nose sensitivity); noisy room (cars honking nonstop); toilet area not so conducive (dimly lit, etc) ; zero introduction by staff (rules and such when you leave,... We booked this hostel due to its good feedback from TA. We found out it did live up to its comment. Staff is very accomodating especially after we checked out in the morning on the day we leave but still allow to use the common bathroom with free towel later in the day! Anyway, one main drawback of this hostel... More
