Our group of 16 stayed here for 2 nights. I saw many foreign tourists stayed as well, westerners, Koreans etc. Although this hotel is referred to as 5-star, don't expect truely it is. It is not close to that usual international standard even. However, I think this one is quite good and acceptable (unless you acted like an inspector specialist,... More

The lobby was quite large and grand. Our room was a little outdated. But we had a great night sleep there. I was disappointed with the hair dryer. The cord attaching to the unit fell off half way through my hair drying. We weren't happy that the maid knocked on our door twice after dinner, around 7 PM to replenish... More

We stayed in this hotel as part of a China Focus Tour (which we do not recommend), and was extremely disappointed. The first room we went into had a toilet that kept running and upon opening the tank we was the float was tied on with a platic bag. The room gives you a list of what everything (and I... More

We stayed here with a tour with China Focus. The hotel had a prominent smell of mold and mildew, especially in the rooms. The floors were stained and the toilet in the first room we were assigned would not stop running. The decor was outdated by about 30 years. No channels on tv in English. China Focus travel listed this... More

Hotel rooms n its bathrooms are vr old in need of some refurbishment. Chinese restaurant in hotel serves a decent meal. Only plus point is nice scenery outside the hotel. Is facing the river.

This hotel is fairly well located on the Li River. Easy 1.5 mile walk across the River to what appeared to be the center of town with access to a variety of restaurants. The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable. Our room was on the riverside and had a great view. The included buffet breakfast was in a very pleasant... More

Rooms were ok, comfortable but hotel was located too far from the "downtown" area, the taxi obtained by hotel staff overcharged, desk & concierge were mainly non english speaking, no tour information was available with the concierge, lobby stores were not open during the day, western food was offered at the hotel but only passable, no close by restaurants or... We stayed 2 nights on a tour to see the Li river. It is in a working class area with noise and the area is not so clean. We did not feel ill at ease going through the neighborhood, though. There are shops and small restaurants behind the hotel but I would be selective due to worry about possible sanitation... More

Decent hotel overlooking the Li River but my room was rather noisy. However, the upside of my room location was the view overlooking the Li River ( see picture). The breakfast buffet was in an airy and very nice location off the lobby. Smallish basic bathroom. Comfortable bed. Hotel location is not far from the "Disneyland-like" city gardens with pretty...
