Elan is a lovely, bright, small, modern hotel with very reasonable rates. The beds comfy and the showers are fab. Unfortunately, I had my pocket picked in Guangzhou and lost all my credit cards. OK this hotel is only $38USD a night so you can't expect too much. It's in the old part of town and there aren't any starbucks or anything around here. It's close to the watch and handbag market so that's a plus. The rooms are clean but the beds are super hard. I'm not disappointed because of the great price... more
