I stayed at the TransHotel on May 2011. I was extremely impressed with the atmosphere, had comfortable and clean room; a good breakfast each morning (buffet), very friendly and helpful housekeepers and staff. I feel that someone has to tell the truth to other people about this hotel, so no one will make mistake of staying there. Stayed two nights, big mistake thinking that $300/night correlates with the quality. We stayed there only because I was traveling with a handicapped person to US Consulate. The company put me into a suite here for 2 nights. A fairly new construction but terrible quality - cracked walls, worn out cheap furniture, a torn bathrobe. Also, they serve the skimpiest breakfast buffet I've seen in Russia and offer only two small thin towels in the suite.
