Stayed one night in Radisson Sochi during my trip to Krasnaya Polyana (the snow resport of Sochi, home of the 2014 Winter Olympics). From the outside you can see, that this at least used to be "the place" to stay in Sochi city. In the lobby they list celebrities etc who stayed sometime in the hotel; names like George W.... More

great hotel, typical large skyscraper hotel and that is carried in to the staff attitude, which was welcoming and positive. The beach is a bit of a distance and a steep hill is discouraging. Eating at the hotel can be very expensive, instead head out to Sochi town centre or the promenade for a better choice. Try the local Russian... More

The hotel is far from the center of Sochi and you should always take a cab (taxi) to get there. The hotel does not provide any free bus shuttle to Sochi or Adler. It is not bother you if all business meetings are in the hotel, but if in Sochi be ready for terrible traffic jams (takes almost an hour... More

We spent 3 nights there with our Russian friends. They had a 2-bedroom cottage and we had a room with a nice view over the Black Sea on the 10th floor. Since they charge outrageous prices we expected at least 4 star service. Sochi is preparing for the 2014 Winter Olympics, so really need to be up to scratch with... More

The Hoetl is good, but for the price that you have to pay, you can have a much better service somewhere else. The hotel is clean, the staff is friently and usually helpful. Breakfast was pretty good with a lot of choices. Lunch and Dinner at the hotel are not that great. the menu is very limited and service is... More

My wife and I recently took a vacation to Russia and were looking for someplace unique in addition to Moscow and St. Petersburg. We decided on Sochi and the SAS Radisson Lazurnaya and were happy that we did. The hotel is pretty much in-line with American 4-star hotels - rooms are a little bit dated, but were fine since we... Pretty good hotel if you know what to expect. It is pricey for western standards and the room I stayed in (standard, queen) was a dated, small, but comfortable. The hotel amenities were nice, large pool open 24 hours, nice banya, pretty good fitness center for a hotel, especially in Russia. The locals pay to join the fitness club. The... More

For the time being (as we get closer to the winter olympics miracles are bound to happen) this hotel is supposed to be the best. The house in one way or the other has something to do with Gazprom. If u have been here u know what Im talking about. The rooms are the weakest link in the hotel. I... More

The hotel is located in a nice spot and the lobby is attractive. The views from the rooms are nice. However, that's where the niceties end. The rooms are small and sparsely furnished (e.g. no ironing boards or irons). I would compare it to Best Western or Holiday Inn motels but at 3 times the price ($230/night). At best, the... More

Our family (2 kids (7 and 9 y.o.) my wife and me) stayed in the Hotel for 10 days in August. We think it is almost OK. There are some buts though. A walk to the hotel's sea private beach takes approx. 10 minutes. The hotel has a Mersedes bus which shuttles once every 30 minutes between the beach and... More
