We were in the area due to the ARCA race down the road at the Rockingham Speedway. After lots and lots of research, we chose to stay at the Sandhills Value Inn due to their good rate. No working phone, no remote, shower hot water handles broken, and the door in the breakroom open and shut all night long! Worst of all, when we mentioned this, the manager just got a far away look in his eyes, no apology---nothing! more
I stayed at this Best Western in August of 2007. The hotel is very clean and quiet. It had a pretty decent free breakfast. The hotel is also very conviently located to golf and plenty of places to eat. The pool is nice a little small, but is located next to a few trees. So the pool would get dirty... more
Arrived after 9 p.m. and was checked in quickly. Very quiet motel -- dark room which was very clean and adequate. Refrig in room. Nice continental breakfast in the morning. Staff very nice. High speed internet that worked well. more
