I am staying in the Hotel Taiga, and have been for three weeks from 19.01.11 through 16.02.11 the rooms are slightly above average with very comfortable beds and very clean the baths have been refurbish in the not too distant past so they are nice if not a little too much in the way of towel racks and soap holders...

Clean rooms and good showers. Hotel bar was full of prostitutes and gangsters. I had a great time, but not a place for the faint-hearted.

I stayed in Taiga Hotel, Bratsk, for 2 weeks in June 2004.
Taiga hotel has got simple to average rooms, but clean, with bath/shower and color TV. Staff is friendly, but does not speak english. Even the receptionists don't, apart from some very basic expressions. Nice street cafe on the side of the hotel, bar is ok also. Nobody speaks...
