Can't recommend this place highly enough. We visited St Petersburg for 4 days and wanted a central location to use as a base for all the major sights. The hotel is really close to the Hermitage and the Church on the spilled blood and only a short walk from Nevsky Prospect where there are many shops and restaurants. Within 5... More

Pushka Inn was perfect for what we needed. Located right next to the Winter Palace, it is centrally located to most of the best sights to see. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, and our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast is solid and substantial and delicious. I would stay here again and again, and I'm saving my... More

I read all the great (and not so kind) reviews about the Pushka Inn before booking. I'm glad I did. My friend and I each had an economy room on the first floor. Our windows faced a courtyard of the building next door so it can be noisy during the day when people are talking or come and go. But,... More

The Pushka Inn hotel was extremely helpful even before we arrived St. Petersburg. Arranging a Russian visa on your own is not very easy but Pushka Inn provided us with the necessary invitations and good advises. This meant that the visa application process went smoothly and efficiently. We were a little unsure on how to travel from the airport in... More

I stayed at Pushka Inn in April 2012 and had a marvelous experience. The phenomenal staff was helpful, informative and patient...even when I felt we were being annoying. For example, on our day of departure we needed to check in to our flights and print out our boarding passes for the airport and the hotel manager on duty let us... More

Dear Wayfaring-Waffle, thanks a lot for your detailed comments! We are really sorry about discomfort caused by our aim to ventilate the rooms and regret that you did not let us know during your staying. Sometimes we do not notice our severe climate but we'll definitely consider it in the future. We are looking forward to welcome you again, as... More

We just arrived back home from our trip to St. Petersburg, Russia and we had an incredible time. The reason for our "most excellent adventure" was the Pushka Inn. There are several reasons why this hotel is five star. First, the staff are incredible. Extremely friendly and very professional. They are always ready to assist you with directions or suggestions... Dear Vincent F, On behalf of all our staff we thank you for your favourable and detailed review. As we always mention, such kind attention helps not only to travelers but inspires us as well! Please kindly let us clarify two moments to avoid some misunderstanding: there is 20% discount provided to our guests in the restaurant (not 25%); our... More

Thanks to other reviewers we selected this hotel and we were not disappointed. The staff were helpful before we arrived in providing the necessary paperwork for the visa , arranging a minibus for collection and to make bookings and reservations throughut our stay. Room 203 without a view was spacious and an extremely comfortable bed- no bath. A fridge is... More
