Nearest metro is CHERNYSHEVSKAYA.
Hotel is north of Nevsky Prospekt, probably 30 minutes walk from Italyanskaya and Moika.
It's very handy for Smolny cathedral.
If you are interested in military history, there is a small museum inthe hotel dedicated to Marshal Mannerheim.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days this summer. The location was convenient for my work and would be fine for a tourist comfortable walking or using the metro system. Plenty of shops and nice restaurants in the neighborhood. The staff was very pleasant. The room was basic and needed cosmetic renovation - new carpet, fresh wallpaper, although it...
