I spent 6 nights at Hotel Kebur Palace. Comfortable room (but tiny), flat screen-TV, good bathroom, pittoresque view to the inner yard. Very decorative lobby and breakfast restaurant. Mid sized hotel in quite a central-ish location approx 20-30mins walk to red square, and 5-10 mins from nearest tube station. Overall we were impressed with the hotel but our stay was not without issue. When you walk in to the hotel a lovely smell greeted us and the lobby is decorated in a sumptious style. The hotel is okay for business travelers, but not for leisure travelers. There is no concierge to help make arrangements or provide information about tourist activities such as tours, etc. The front desk personnel do not have the knowledge level necessary to help with these types of requests, nor do they have the time. Tiflis is a Georgian owned hotel, linked to a Georgian restuarant. After many visits to Moscow, I am a confirmed Georgian food disliker, but this hotel is perfect.
