Big hotel in the centre of Moscow. Well located but a bit old. The rooms are quite big but the furniture and installations a bid old and old-fashion. Nice staff. The breakfast is ok.

The location isn't far from Red Square (2 stops away on metro). However, our room was in bad need of a remodel and it was very musty and smelled smokey. The location was the best thing about this hotel, the security staff were not very pleasant and almost threatening. The reception staff were pretty helpful and spoke good English. Location is very convenient, very central, close to underground Mayakovskaya, Stuff at the reception desk very friendly. Security has a very strong presence in the lobby, very unpleasant. Maybe they could transform the receprion which is not so cosy, but the building is pretty nice and mostly well managed inside. The rooms are mostly nice and really clean. 5 min from metro. I didn't need more for 4 days vacations
