Overall, the Marriott Aurora is a nice hotel. It is very centrally located in Moscow around the corner from the Red Square. The staff and service are solid, and the rooms well maintained. Although not my favorite hotel in Moscow (see Golden Apple review), I would stay again if the price was right. As usual, the Good, Bad, and Ugly....... more

Thi is my favourite in Moscow - it has spacious rooms, efficient service, great beds and it is perfectly located close to tons of restaurants, bars, interesting places. It can be expensive, but you pay for location. car access in rush our can be a bother, but usually can be helped by a small walk (10 mins walk vs 20... more

We spend 5 nights at the Marriott Royal Aurora Hotel Moscow. The room is clean and spacious, although not fashionable. Things I like most is its location which is very close to main tourist attractions, such as the Kremlin and shopping streets. Concierge is very helpful in providing information about the places around and tour information. There is also a... more

Stayed here at this perfectly located hotel for one night before joining a package tour of Russia. Service was remarkable and staff was extremely friendly and helpful in every way. Top marks for service especially at check in. Breakfast was exceptional too. We were pleasantly upgraded to a suite. The room and toilet is fairly spacious and all amenites provided.... more

We stayed here several nights in Sept. 2009. The location, very close to the Kremiln, Red Square, and a couple of metro stops, is top notch. The room was comfortable enough and the "butler" service at least provided coffee in the mornings. The room service was outrageously priced but then again, Moscow is awfully expensive. We used points, so I... more

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in a junior suite. The room was good maybe a little dated no flatscreens (something you would expect in a hotel of this standard and price). The bathroom was big with marble from the 70's if they wait 10 years it would be trendy again. The hotel is really in a superb location... more

The Marriott Royal Aurora is located in a very convenient area - near the Red Square, Kremlin, Theatre, Metro. It's what you expect from a Marriott, and with impeccable service. However, if you're not on business, using points (as we were), the price is not for the faint of heart (you can find deals online). While we used points, I... more

I stayed in the hotel with my husband in June 2009 - liked it very much. Though the room is nothing special, the service is outstanding, front office staff and butlers are great and helpful - overall great experience! more

Was a great location to see the city. Very happy with the choice, but the largest downside was the rather stiff bed. I would have preffered a little nicer bed, everything else was great. Nice large room. more

Room was a disappointment - nothing special at all. I would not rate this hotel as 5 star and is over-priced and everthing is extra cost ($26 for a bottle of water!). Some staff were not friendly. The only thing going for it is the location - thats the reason I chose it together with previous good experiences with Marriott.... more
