The room is cosy. The location in moscow is perfect! We have access to all things in Moscow walking. Is just a little expansive ( we sleep in a private room with private bathroom but there is other proposition and for this we don't know...) and there is not service breakfast. Go there !

No good location could compensate for the 3 nights of bad sleep! Noise is constant and it is not a jolly sounds of happy party goers – it is appallingly loud noise of seven airconditioners (in a tiny enclosed yard) and a unloading truck that delivers merchandise (every night!) to the next door shop. Awful hostel, under reform. It was a horrible suprise when i arrived and saw my bed in the stair hall, because there was no rooms.The rooms showed in the photos were closed or occupied, and the guests slept in spaces under reform, covered in white dust and dirty, with cloths dividing the environments and workmen making noise. I stayed bulgakov 2 times. Location is perfect. But just this. Rooms tinny small and hotel not service breakfast. But its best in the moscow for this prices. if you will stay in moscow for business or short trip its good and safety for couples or single person. i will definetly stay again in this hotel. but i hope next... The hostel was nice and the room was small but newly renovated. The only issue was that the floor was under renovation thus lots of dust was coming even through the door of the room. However if you stay in this hostel a little later I am sure you will have a nice and tidy after renovation room.

This hotel/hostel has nice pictures on its Web site, but the reality is that right now (March 2012) they're taking advantage of the off-season to do repairs and build a new room--and things are a bit grubby at the moment.
