We were a party of 6 and we stayed at a family room. It only cost us P175 [approx. US$4] each. Very cheap considering that a little walk from the pension will lead you straight to Lacson St.--pretty much the center of dining places in Bacolod City. Pension Bacolod is one of the cheapest hotel that I have ever been. This should be recommended to salesman travelling to Bacolod. Even their restaurant has improve. For only 500 pesos, we had a double with aircon, but you also get nothing else. The shower wasn't working and you don't have a window.

On march 6, 2010 at about 4-5 pm my husband and i were supposed to check in at Pension Bacolod for an overnight stay. And I couldnt be more appalled at how the front desk officer received us. I had the worst experience at this pension house. I went to Bacolod for a business meeting. I checked out @ L'fisher hotel by 12 noon and I went there only to have my bag left as I'm leaving for Cebu by 11 pm. The receptionist is not friendly at all!! I can just say...............Wow! A great place to stay, if you visit Bacolod. This was probably the best vacations I've ever had! The manager and service was nice compared to the crowded hotels in Manila. If I go back to the Philippines, I'll be sure to visit again!
