Very close to the airport. Room was small but very clean. TV and Air conditioner worked fine. Staff tried to be helpful. For the money, food was good. Rooftop pool was also a neat touch.

Paid about 50$ for a tiny room which was meant to sleep 3 , although I was alone this was apparatnly the only available room, which I suspect not to be true. The Hotel is situated in a dump of a backroad and the the reception staff seemed irriatated by my presence here. The room was clean , no safe... More

I've tried to be fair in my reviews not just for the benefit of the readers but also for the hotel - staff included. To be fair to Shogun Hotel, the staff were friendly, attentive and polite. I hate to use the word crap, but this hotel needs serious refurbishment. In my previous visits to nearby Kabayan Hotel, I've only... More

Close to the airport ok to catch a plane. My wife recieved one cold egg and one toast. When she tried to return for coffee and something else she was cutoff. If you want to eat a normal breakfast go somewhere else. Rate this hotel poor for the very very limited poor quality breakfast offered. The good thing is thet... More

I should have taken note of the previous comments regarding the no show at the airport. I told them. when I initially booked the room what flight we would be arriving on and then reconfirmed it 3 days before we went. Arrived in the aiport at 21.45, hung around until nearly 11pm. Nobody there. Ended up getting a taxi to... More

First of all, this hotel is not recommended for customers who will arrive in private vehicles. The traffic was terrible! We wasted a lot of time (dinner time actually) just finding the correct route to their free (but very small) parking area. The lobby was dark and gloomy but the smiles from their guards compensated for it. It would be... More

(+) Affordable, near airport, w/ internet, breakfast, mini-fridge, beside MRT/LRT stations and mini-shopping centre w/ fastfood places, artistic room designs, pool at top building but wasn't able to see if it's available. (-)Not responding to emails and phone calls, no airport pickup/drop-off as mentioned in website, small area, not that customer friendly Experience: I was trying to contact them by... More

We stayed here for one night because our flight got in to Manila late. The free airport transfer did not pick us up even though they assured us that they were there. This meant getting a taxi for the first time ever in Philippines to our hotel late at night (not happy). The free breakfast they provided was..... a strange... More

We knew were going to arrive at the airport in Manila at a very late hour so we wanted an airport pickup and the Shogun thankfully provided us that at no extra charge. We also wanted to be near the airport for an early afternoon domestic flight the next day, so the location of the Shogun was also good for... More
