Stayed here during a medical convention May 7-9, 2012. First, the location. The sprawling Mall of Asia is just a 2-dollar taxi drive or a leisurely 20-minute walk away. As you proceed to your room, you realize the owners are probably jazz music lovers because the piped-in music are David Benoit, Noel Pointer, etc. Now to the room. The first... More

I celebrated my birthday here last April 25, we checked in just to relax since our dinner that night is very close to this hotel. As usual, I was excited because, I love checking in at hotels and since this is new, I want to see what they can offer. I also love breakfast at hotels, so I was looking... More

True to its name, Midas gave us the golden experience during our stay there two days ago. The service is tops, with everybody in the hotel staff showing warmth, courtesy and quick delivery of our requests. Check-in is a breeze though I noticed that among the hotel staff, the front desk personnel are the least cheerful. The rooms are spacious... More

Midas Hotel proved to be a truly first class hotel during our stay this weekend. I've been in several hotels and always tried to look for that first class service of the staff, and I found it here. Despite the many negative feedback, the Midas staff made our stay completely bearable and relaxing. We checked in early and our room,... More

We've indicated inour reservation that we want a king sizebed but they provided a room with 2single beds. We then asked to be transferred to another room and they did but it took a while so bythe time we settled in it was 3pm. The room is very oldnot like what we see in the internet. Very disappointing. The hotel is 4 km from the airport on the very noisy Roxas boulevard.  We took a yellow taxi with a meter (price 150 pesos - 10 minutes at 11 pm) from the airport and a white taxi with a meter to go back to the airport at 9 am (100 pesos - 15 minutes). We stayed at room 415... More

Midal Hotel's location is excellent. It is situated very close to one of Asia's biggest malls - SM Mall of Asia and to the airport. It is right beside the Japanese Embassy and not too far from the US Embassy. Staff is friendly. Check in was smooth and fast. We were also given our welcome drinks of iced tea. The... More

The best thing about that hotel is the proximity to the airport and the mall of Asia. Staff friendlyness was ok... nothing overwhelming. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were clean with small balcony, which was great. No shuttle to the airport nor pick up even though it was promised. But there are plenty of cabs... Some rooms have doors. We... More
