The Peninsula is my usual home for business trips to Manila. My most recent stay was fine, but a couple of small things marred the expected 5 star experience. Staff continue to be friendly and helpful, but returning late one afternoon after a day of meetings my room had not yet been serviced--the maid barely finished before the evening turndown... More

The room was quiet, the staff excellent, the location ideal, room service was delicious etc It was a 5 star experience. But did it meet or exceed expecations -... More

A grand hotel, very well maintained throughout. Lobby is stunning, and rooms are quiet, with comfortable beds, marble baths, oversized towels and lots of extra little toiletries that make things convenient. Wireless in rooms, various gadgetry to make the room lighting fit your mood. Workout and pool areas are kept spotless, steam room and sauna plus changing room/lounge available for... More

Stayed in this hotel for one night, 15th December 2011, with my mom and 3 year old daughter. As we checked in, the room that we pre-booked was not available, hence was offered a bigger room which costs us with an additional charge. Had no choice but to take it. We used their valet car park but they scratched our... More

I don't think i can say enough good things about Manila Peninsula. I absolutely adore this place! Stayed here for 2 weeks and gosh, I didn't want to leave! Rooms are a good size. Beds are comfy. I'm really particular about beds, give me a crap bed and my back will bother me the whole day. They must've cleaned our... More

Located at the heart of Makati at the corner of Ayala and Makati Avenue. Near to the public transport as well as host of malls where you can spend time to buy or to eat with wide variety of options available both for vegeterians and non vegeterians. What strike you about this hotel is the grand reception hall and its... More

This is a great hotel. Located in the heart of Makati, it is walking distance of the best malls and just a short taxi ride from excellent restaurants. Rooms are big and very comfortable, as well as the bathrooms. The breakfast buffet is one of the most impressive I’ve ever seen, including food from all around the world: from pastries... More

I stayed in manila pen for 2 days for my brothers wedding in January 2012. On the day of check-out, my brother paid for my room for the 2 days that I've stayed in the hotel and he was assured that I won't be paying a single cent as everything was settled. Only to find out, when I got my... More

With any of the major high end chains you expect a certain level of service, and the Peninsula delivers exceedingly well. As noted, it is kind of expected, but you don't really appreciate it until you leave and find the chaos of the city where customer service is somewhat lacking at best. The staff is impeccably trained, the concierge was... More
