I have stayed here a number of times over the past 3 years, but only when the Inn at the Finger Lakes (used to be Microtel) was booked solid. We stayed at this hotel because we had some business in the area and were also going to visit friends. The kids and I (mom) hung out during the day while dad left for a the afternoon/evening. My stay at the Holiday Inn in Auburn is always an excellent experience! The staff is extremely polite and personable. They work very hard to make sure that the guests are cared for. I stayed at this Holiday Inn recently, and my experience would have been wonderful it were not for the hotel manager, Amber Gansert. I recently stayed at the Holiday inn Auburn with my boyfriend and friends for a weekend get away. The property has gone through some great renovations and is larger than I had expected to see in this quaint town! The guestrooms were nicely done and the bathroom was fairly large. We always stay here when visiting family in the area. It is a great location for traveling in and around town. They were very helpful accomidating us with room arrangments for us and my son. They offer free breakfast for the children who's family is staying in. On our last morning, our family met us there for breakfast and fairwells.... more

What can you say about a Holiday Inn. You get a clean room with nice people at the front desk. Location is ideal for going anywhere in the area. Our challenge was the quality of the bed.
