Not a bad choice as hostels go. Good points include friendly staff, internet access (although very slow), cable TV, simple breakfast and heating. We stayed for 4 nights and were completely satisfied with the place... We´re fairly picky too (especially for backpackers)! The location is perfect and the price can´t be argued with!

The hostal is located on Avenida Los Incas and is easy to walk to the main plaza and pedestrianised areas of Puno. The rooms are basic but clean and heaters are included in the price you pay (30$ for private double). Cable TV is also included as is internet (crawls though). Breakfast is included.

Good value for the price you pay. The hostel is near one of the main squares, Parque Pino, and near the main shopping street. The rooms are big, the bed and shower are good. Cable television with english spoken programs is available. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Summarized a very good place to stay.
