My husband and I stayed at Intiqa and we loved it! The hotel is located in a quiet little street walking distance from the Main turisty Boulevard and from the Main Square. Service was excellent and the rooms were great! We had a great view of the lake from our 5th floor room and it was also very quiet at...

We stayed here in May 2012. The hotel was clean and the rooms large with comfortable beds. Location is good and close to the main mall with all the restaurants. The showers had good pressure and hot water. The price was very reasonable.
On the downside there was quite a bit of noise audible from neighboring rooms starting at 5am...

We changed to Intiqa Hotel after a poor experience at another hotel in Puno. The place is well maintained, staff very helpful and breakfast was very good. The rooms are almost up to European boutique hotel standards and breakfast was great. Did not try the restaurant as there are loads of good places to eat very close by. If you are spending several nights in Puno consider spending one...

First off, I'm not sure why too many people will find them self in Puno. I believe there is a more known hotel set out from the city but then one would miss the local flavor of the town. This hotel is in a great location, just one street off the main street. We were there during their festival week...

We booked two rooms. Both were very nice by Peruvian standards. Clean and comfortable, with hot water both in the sink and in the shower, which is something you definitely don't take for granted in this country.
My main concern is the hotel restaurant. The kitchen does however seem quite unorganized, since the food took very long to arrive both...

Good: Clean room, breakfast included, free pick-up from the bus terminal, friendly service, free internet on 2 computers at reception, cable TV (though older TV, not flat screen), good location 2 blocks behind the cathedral and plaza de armas.
