We have just returned from a week in David, Panama. We stayed at the Puerta del Sol, and found it to be satisfactory in comfort and amenities, although we did have a few annoying experiences. The room was sufficient in size, and the beds comfortable. Unfortunately, housekeeping had hidden moth balls in every conceivable location, and the fumes were overpowering.... more

The hotel is right on main square. VERY VERY shiney CLEAN, bathroom larger and nicer than normal for these places. Staff really very helpfull and friendly. Most speak english. moving to Boquete, looking at property and needed a place not to far away....good value for the price, convenient location, clean... food in the restaurant was good.... hotel desk staff friendly and speak english... secure parking underground.... would stay there again... rooms could use some updating but hey, it cost me $30 a night more

We loved our stay in the hotel. Clean, nice big rooms, air conditioning, cable TV, great food service downstairs and a perfect central location. The staff were helpful and kind. I am going back to David next week, and will for sure stay there again! more
