For us no place is bettering David. It's walking distance to downtown and to my mother-in-law's. the restaurant is great too. You must try the hojaldras with cofee. The rooms are always. Lean and the service is always friendly and kind.

Stayed at Iberia for one night- not too bad. The hotel staff is very slow, don't expect quick check-in & check-out. The room had a queen bed, a window, small fridge, and bathroom with shower. Breakfast is not included in $38.00 per night room rate, however the restaurant prices are not too bad. Average hotel for average price, nothing special.

I stayed at Hotel Iberia in David Chirque Panama. It is a brand new hotel. Paid US$35 a night, for a small room, good bed, hot water (only in the shower), air conditioning and satellite TV. It has good security, front desk clerk has to buzz you into the stair case leading to the upper floors. No elevator.

It was one of the better hotels in Panama. The only funny thing was how they had taped a lamp back togethar that had broke. That made me chuckle.
