I stayed at Hotel Iberia in David Chirque Panama. It is a brand new hotel. Paid US$35 a night, for a small room, good bed, hot water (only in the shower), air conditioning and satellite TV. It has good security, front desk clerk has to buzz you into the stair case leading to the upper floors. No elevator.

We booked to and from Panama City from Costa Rica traveling by car, I was so delighted with the personnel and rooms. The front desk pesonnel were very helpful and very curtious,and even better was the rate $38 a nite. I highly recommend this hotel and will be back!!!!!!!
