I stayed in the Al Falaj Hotel from 14 Jan to 28 Jan. Thehotel located in Ruwi, a convenient location with only a few minutes drive to Muscat and near the commercial banking center. Not sure when the hotel was built, but it has been well maintained. The rooms were basic, but clean and the location is fairly quiet. I... More

We stayed her just one night before our desert adventure, the bathroom room and room was clean. The only problem I found was that it was noisy at night. It's a nice place to stay lovely pools, restaurant meals are fine and breakfast is good. Well maintained. More

Comfort stay, Room was good. The view was distracted by uncompleted portion...other than that it was good. The Noise from the Pub close by bothers you but if you could get a room overseeing the road side then this could be avoided. Request your airport drop early but not early as 2 days prior but 24 Hrs is good enough.... More

We- a family with two kids 7 & 14, stayed at the hotel for just one night. Rooms -small but comfortable, just enough place for the extra bed.Bathrooms a bit old but reasonably clean. One of our children slept in another room with a family friend. Breakfast buffet was nice. Reception was helpful to locate a restaurant closeby for dinner.... More

A really good find. Value for money in Muscat where most hotels are rediculously expensive. Clean, modern rooms with a decent selection of restaurants, proper gym for lifting weights (not posing or running) and a large pool for doing laps. Ok you would not stay here for recreation but if you are here on business and your client is not... More

Tucked into a little alley not far from the business district (MBD), the Ruwi commercial area or from the Muttrah Souk & Corniche, Al Falaj is a good option for both the business traveler as well as the tourist. But keep in mind that this is not for someone who's visiting Muscat to soak in some sun by the pool.... More

This hotel is a little dated, but the staff were friendly, and the room reasonable. I used the room service several times, and the orders occasionally were a bit messed up, but mostly ok. Breakfast isn't great, consists of some pastries and cold food, and a few random asian warm dishes. There is an excellent sushi restaurant in the building,... More

Good hotel with nice rooms and friendly service. Couple of bars are also located in this hotel but does not get in too much of a crowd. The food was good but the Idli at the breakfast spread was pretty bad on a regular basis! The hotel has a good outdoor pool and kids would enjoy it but tends to... More
