Pretty riad, beautifully furnished in traditional Moroccan tiles, cushions etc. in location near good restaurants, cafes and souks. You can hear the sea from room 4 and breakfast on the terrace is the perfect way to start the day. Very clean and staff happy to help and meet you from the bus if needed. Felt very safe and comfortable. Will... More

Alright, let me preface this my saying we consult trip advisor almost everywhere we go and its mostly right on. All of the review for the other 4 places we stayed in Morocco were to the tee. Not sure where all these reviews for this riad are coming from, but the actual accommodations, the service we received, and the location... More

Firstly, I find that veiled, accusation, hurtful and offensive, and one wonders from whence that comes? There will, sadly, always be some people, who are never happy, nor satisfied..but we, at Lunetoile, remain committed to offering the best we possibly can, within the confines of a Guest House. You did make your booking, 48 hours before due date of arrival.... More

A beautiful riad with great attention to detail (flowers in the rooms, electric heaters for cool evenings, a range of magazines, sun loungers on the terrace, plenty of mint tea!) friendly and very helpful staff (though some French would be helpful) , relaxing, welcoming and homely atmosphere, great location, delicious breakfast. Our room was immaculate. My girlfriend had a traditional... More

My daughter and I had a terrific stay at this Riad. People were very kind, hospitable. It was also fun to stay in the Medina. Terrific location, very reasonable price for the quality of the space.

I went with my boyfriend last october. Our bus arrived very late at night and we were told that we would not be able to stay there on the first night as no one would be around to let us in which I could understand as the staff are women. So we stayed in some hideous thing around the corner... More

This is a lovely place - the staff is welcoming and helpful, the rooms are pretty and clean, and the atmosphere is very nice. We had a terrific two-day start to our time in Morocco and I really wished I could stay here forever! It is really quiet, the rooftop terrace is really scenic, and there is a kitchen if... More

My wife and I, in our early 60’s, stayed three nights at the Riad Lunetoile. The Riad is centrally located within the Essaouira medina but a short walk out to the rest of the town. Lunetoile staff were waiting for us at the Supratour bus stop when we arrived from Marrakech and escorted us to the Riad We had a... More

So sorry that you found our internet connection "spotty", and that you sadly, did not mention this to our ladies, who, CERTAINLY, would have understood, and, had it been serious, I would hope, that they would have acted immediately and called in the technician. We have a computer on adsl, and we have wifi...I am not quite sure what was... More

We had planned on staying 3 nights but extended to 4 - and will definitely be back! There is nothing I would change about this wonderful Riad. The location, the staff, the rooms, the food - everything was perfect! We arrived at the main bus station and were met by a staff member who accompanied us to the Riad. We... More

First escape from the hussle and bustle of Marrakech! My first step into my room was simply awesome. It gave me a feeling of living in a Moroccan home.Even the door of my room is memorable. The welcome drinks was really what we need after the tiring 3 hours bus journey. Sue, the owner of this Riad is very helpful,... More

I think the tittle represent all my opinion about the Riad. It's really homey and we really relaxed alot. The city or I would rather say the Essaouira village itself is not pretty big, therefore a perfect place to recuperate after a very long journey. The owner lady Sue is very very friendly and very nice, too bad we could... More
