Stayed there 2 years ago when Julien was the manager(He has since left). This my second visit was not so enjoyable because the weather was stormy for the 2 days I was there and non stop sandstorm was a major problem as the hotel is situated on a busy main road.Crossing the road to walk to the medina which is... After Agadir which is a nothing place with no history, no character and is neither Moroccan OR European, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the bus journey full of camels, donkeys and carts, argan factories, and the infamous tree climbing goats. As I climbed off the bus, the first thing that I noticed was the WIND. In Marrakech they describe... More

We booked into here for our 3rd trip to Essaouira for the Gnaoua festival. Our usual hotel has realised they can charge around £500 a week for the view from their terrace, but we couldn't justify the cost!! Having read a few reviews on here, we thought it was worth a go and it certainly was; an absolute bargain. It's... More

Basic, reasonably priced hotel. Nothing to complain about. The staff were lovely, the breakfast was simple but fresh and good. Its about a 10 - 15 minute stroll from the medina. Rooms were large, airy, clean enough and quite comfortable. I'm not saying that it wouldnt enjoy a refurb - a splash of paint would do it good, but all... More

For a hostel, there is little to complain about. No food, nor are there any restaurants nearby. Locations is shabby, quite dodgy in fact. The one redeeming factor is the lack of car guards nearby - only pro to not being neat the sea front. More

For the money a very good Hotel. Very clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Would have been 5 star but for located a little out of main Medina area and not much atmosphere. All in great base to explore from. More

This is not a fancy hotel, but for under $25 a night, this was excellent value for money - very clean en suite room, nicely decorated, tv, phone, good service, hot shower and only a 5 minute walk from the bus station and medina. Would definitely stay here again if I were on a tight budget. More

A great room at a smart price! The room was clean and large with ensuite bathroom. Moreover, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well worth the money. More

Given that I paid around £20 per night for the room I was extremely satisfied with my stay here. I had a large en suite double room that was clen and prettily decorated in blues and pinks. Clean towels and sheets on arrival (not changed during the stay but that seems to be par for the course) and enough hot... More

This is a good place to stay for a budget traveller in Essaouira. It is located in a new part of the town, close to the bus station. It is a short walk to the medina. The hotel has what you need, a clean room, bathroom and bed. You could buy a simple breakfast (with lovely coffee) in the coffeeshop.The... More
