Only downside is location which is 1.5hours from KL Central, however there is a free transfer bus everyday at 9am returning from KL at 4.30pm (too early for us!). This new resort is a series of villas set on stilts in the sea in the shape of a palm tree. It is certainly different. Visited the Golden Palm Tree Resort for my birthday and i must say that it was quite an experience. The resort is beautiful and the villas are in excellent condition. The resort itself, facilities and restaurant can get quite pricey but i think its still worth the experience.
