The Borneo Highlands Lodge tries to be several different things, and does better at some than others. The beautiful 18-hole golf course is clearly the focus of the operation, and very well maintained. A gift shop stocks mostly golf-related items and plenty of shirts, but not much else. Even if you aren't there to play golf, management can arrange for... More

For us here is really a hidden paradise in Kuching .We are really enjoy the peaceful and quite environment here. Borneo Highland gives you the chance to just let loose and relax while breathing fresh mountain air and enjoying dazzling scenery and amazing sunsets. The average temperature at this highland is about 18-28 degrees Celsius. We enjoy our stay at... More

We really enjoyed our 2D1N stay at Borneo Highlands Resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful and since we visited in the rainy season of Kuching, the resort was practically empty. Our room had an amazing view, and was simple and clean. No television required! The restaurant (although vegetarian) was great and the food was fresh and very tasty.... More

We stayed six days relaxing and enjoying nature in this fantastic location. Definite no place for party and meeting people. The adjacdent golf course is a must for golfmaniacs. Even it was raining all night long the maintenance of the course allowed a decent round. Surronding and views are simply spectacular. It is expensive, but worth the money considering you... More

I heard from friends that it is not worth going all the way to Borneo Highlands Resort to play golf nor stay in the hotel as it is poorly maintained. Despite their discouragement I wanted to try it out as I heard that the hotel was renovated 3 years ago and upgraded. The price for staying in the resort is... More

The Higlands resort is a wondeful place to switch off and relax for a couple of days. Located over a large site it's elevation is between about 2,500 and 3,000 feet making a a bit cooler. The gardens and 'park' lands arr well maintained and offer great views. Try to get to the viewing point - at about 3000 feet... More

no proper instructions given on how to go to the resort until the driver told us that we need to pay additional fees to go to the resort. no shopping and the buffet breakfast spread is poor and cold. The resort is very secluded and is very far away from the city which makes travelling and shopping very difficult. Transport... More

Already booked the trip before reading the previous unflattering comment. So I was not sure what to expect from the resort. But the first impression on arrival was excellent. The view and clean cool air was a tonic to de-stress. The reception of the foothill guard, the reception party and the restaurant staff was all smiles and friendly. I am... More

We stayed at this resort for three nights as part of our round Asia honeymoon. The resort facilities are excellent and serene. You can play golf, go on secluded picnics and rainforest tours, have a spa day and a romantic candlelight dinner under the stars in their gazebo. One day we took one of the golf carts available to guests... More
