If you need to stay in Putrajaya for business this a great hotel. For sight seeing purposes it is a little far out of KL. The rooms were great, and the hotel restaurant was great. We encountered some communication issues with some of the staff, in relation to English. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

What a pleasant stay! The staff here were amazing...from the check in to the breakfast wait staff, driver. My 9 month old dropped her bunny and after a long day of site seeing, they greeted us at the entrance with the bunny in hand. Breakfast was wonderful! The hotel is beautiful and well appointed, typical of any Shang!

One of the worse SPA facilities around. Shower rooms in male section was under repair and they dare to sell their Spa Packages. After we had signed up on the Massage packages only then I found out and was told that the shower rooms are out of order!! Ridiculous. The Managers of this place should be sacked.

Stayed 2 nights for a meeting. The room was comfortable with a great view of the garden. We had all the meals in the hotel. Although the selection was not large, the dishes were tasty. I love the fresh carrot juice available during breakfasts.Compliments to Chef Meor and his team! The gym and the pool next to it had a nice... More

How does this hotel call itself a "Shangri La"? I stayed there for one night March 15th. While using the sauna, a housekeeping staff walked past into the toilets and lit up a smoke in the cubicle. When I started smelling smoke, I banged on the door telling him I would call security....when I walked out to the pool, it... More

Very disappointing. I have stay at other Shangri-La properties and this property left much to be desired. The main dining room has uncomfortable chairs. The buffet for both breakfast and dinner was quite a let-down. Limited selection and quantities. On a Saturday night, they had a chef grilling food in the dining room and the room filled with smoke. They... More

First of all, I never knew there was a Shangri-la in Putrajaya until I had a workshop to attend there. The hotel is located right smack in the middle of the giant Putrajaya roundabout (fringing Precints 1 and 2 and close to the government offices) and basically in the middle of nowhere. It's a low-rise hotel surrounded by greenery and... More

Generally a quiet, peaceful and refreshing hotel for good rest after meeting. Stayed for two nights during our convention in PICC. The car parking is too far & may not look safe! Overall a good place to stay if have meeting or function in Putrajaya area.

This hotel suffers the same issue as its sister hotel in Sentosa, Singapore: it takes 2 or 3 staff 20 minutes to check you in. The room you booked is not ready, despite being mid afternoon. Strange. Anyway this is a nicely appointed hotel in a quiet location, minutes away from central Putrajaya. Some of the room furniture is dated... More

Got off to a poor start when our taxi driver had trouble finding the hotel, and we were late for our first meeting there. Business centre was tiny, so was the lobby and reception area which was basically a desk and three chairs. Staff was polite but professed no knowledge of surrounding traffic conditions, travel time to Precint 2 where... More
