Beautifully restored traditional extended family home with well chosen art throughout and furniture appropriate to its past. Our stay of 5 nights was enhanced by having the hotel as our base and by its friendly and obliging staff. Its common areas (reading room, gardens and the lobby) were cool, peaceful places for contemplation, reading, a quiet drink and conversation.

in a very convenient location, with only 10-15 mins to most renowned restaurant and tourist destinations. free wifi, breakfast(continental/malaysian style with fruit juice) and tea. the rooms are all well-decorated with local flavour of artpiece. bath utensils are from Crabtree n Evelyn. very good staff provided useful tips on how to tour ard the city.

One of the better restaurants in Georgetown! There's only one dish, Australian steak, with chips and salad. Our meal was well cooked, the steak lean and the offering matched the promise. The price was reasonable, the waiter friendly, nice setting.

We stayed at this hotel for only one night - we wanted to stay longer! Two historical houses updated while retaining old world charm. With a restaurant right next door and afternoon tea. a great place to stay. Quiet street in Georgetown, which is saying something. The staff were especially kind & helpful. You should stay there!!
