I stayed in a budget single room - tiny with no window, but value for money and there are many other options. Walls were dirty, but there is good wi-fi internet. Location good for staying right opposite the Lost World of Tambun, a few km outside Ipoh, but otherwise not much out that way.

Stayed for just 1 night with 2 kids in Deluxe Room with window for RM90 as other room type are all taken. It was a short trip to Tambun Waterpark and this the nearest hotel with available room.
