Cherating is a long beach and it is abt 35 - 45 minutes away frm Kuantan town by self drive. so when u plan a trip to Kuantan must book 2 nights stay in town and 2 nights stay in cherating. Stayed here for 1 night. Thats enough I think!. The room was lovely and the view from our room just perfect. No drinks/bar service at the Lobby lounge. Staff borderline between shy and clueless! nice airy restaurant - good bungalows - swimming-pool - perfect for leisure. Incredible long deserted beach. Completely Isolated. Cherating center is about 3 km further and can be reached by bicycle hired at the resort. Normal price starts at RM 330++ but many promotions. I would stay hotel staff is friendly but not the hotel. Is not recommend this hotel for family with kids that have pram. Or people with many luggage. The website claims the hotel been refurbished? Small details for basic hotel amenities should be considered when you do not have a standard 2 pax to a room situation. Apart from shortage of breakfast voucher for 3rd person, getting hotel to reinstall door chain (which was missing), aircon not cold enough (possible due to hot weather), lots of ants and mosquito, there was shortage of towels given... more

I stayed in this resort on January 2010. To cut things short.....I am not happy and very dissapointed with many things. Unfriendly staffs from receptionist, maid, and waiter/waitresses. been here for one night stay on early feb, our room Superior Deluxe on 3rd floor very nice and spacious, separate space with sofa to watch tv, walk in wardrobe and king size poster bed. Hope they change all the window blind with a curtain cause its get stuck everytime i need to roll it up. more
