The hotel is very charming, the rooms also but it is very expensive. The staff is not very helpful. Contrary to most hotels we went to in Malaysia, breakfast is not included, expensive, and very average. I stayed with a friend at ‘Balas’ for two nights from 7th November. The access road up to the hotel needed resurfacing and did not create a good first impression.
