Dreadful is the only word to describe the Equatorial building in the over-developed slum that is now Cameron highlands. Like a box sitting atop a beautiful mountain the build quality is truly awful with doors bowing, refusing to close and electrical fittings falling off the wall. This hotel was fine for the price. It looks very pretty from the outside and the lobby is quite impressive. The rooms and bathrooms are average. There is a lovely view from the room. We were travelling to CH by coach, and had "upgraded" our rooms to a suite, thinking it would be better maintained than the overused rooms. It is sad to see despite the bad reviews & comments made, the hotel management doesn't seem to really care & it still has not improve. I stayed for 1 night in the 2 bedrooms apartment but it really didn't give me, my husband & daughter with my elderly parents any joy of vacation. We expect to see blooming garden... more
