Stayed here with a friend in summer 2010. Great value, close to the beach yet up a side street so not noisy, really helpful owner and clean. Excellent value and wouldn't hesitate staying again.

We stayed here whilst touring around Langkawi. It seems the owners have changed and the English couple no longer own it. Instead we met Raj, a very pleasant chap happy to help us. After checking in, we walked into palm's room 4 and there were at least 2 dozen Mosquitos swarming in the bedroom and bathroom. There were spiders spinning cobwebs in every corner of the room. My bf even thought it was too much. We left and are now happily staying at Sweet inns. A huge improvement!

Beautiful and peaceful location.. Very near to beach (less than 5 min walk).. Nice and clean rooms, Hot Shower, AC, mini refrigerator, clean sheet, towels, chairs.. Great location if you want to be near tourist attractions, busy restaurants and duty-free shopping centre on Pantai Cenang. Not good if you're looking for quiet time on Langkawi. As far as we were concerned the only good thing about this place was its location. 3 minutes to the restaurants and a minute further to the beach. The room was not clean, it wasn't cleaned at all whilst we were there (4 nights), bins weren't emptied, no clean towels & only 1 toilet roll for the duration! The caretakers... More
