Over a month ago I sent an email to the resort's manager Jasbeer (to the email address he specifically asked on facebook to direct all questions regarding resort bookings etc to. In the email I asked him some basic questions about availability, transfers, cost, etc. After not getting any reply from him 2 weeks later I sent him another email.... More

The resort is 1 of 3 on Pulau Besar. The accomodation is fair and clean. Get the beach view chalet as the price difference is only around RM50. The staff are super friendly espescially a guy called Adam who really assisted us with our queries. Also the counter staff Liza and Wati. However for those in a family, try to... More

We went to this hotel in a low period, so it was almost empty. A couple of days we were the only guests and there was a feeling of exclusiveness :). The food was very very tasty, the stuff was friendly and attentive, prices were good. The only sad thing during that trip were sand flies. Their bites provoked strong... More

We spent a long weekend here with a fantastic group of friends. The resort was everything we could ever have hoped for - fantastic beach, great food, nice breazy bar area, good accommodation and marvelously expansive areas. Whilst at the resort, there was nobody else around except for our group so the whole resort was ours to enjoy. The water... More

Resort is pretty decent, amazing and quiet beach. The resort got their own beach chairs and tent, so there is no need to worry about paying anything more for the rental of the chairs. Afforable price for food. GREAT services from staff and they were very helpful. They even went an extra mile by sourcing for bus tickets from Mersing... More

Coming from Singapore, Pulau Besar is a very nice and convenient place to go. The hotel can organize private charter ferry which makes it easier than waiting for the scheduled ferry at Mersing. The beach is amazing, but a bit spoiled by the rusty ugly plateform that is used to make a new berth. As a consequence, the water was... More

It's my first time staying in the islands off Mersing and I didn't know what to expect. It's definitely a place which does not build its reputation by adverts or agents but mainly on recommendation by guests. There are more Europeans in the resort and mostly repeating guest. They come back every year because they love this place. The rooms... More

Pulau Besar island is what most people imagine a South China Sea island to be. Its only about 1km by 4km and is bascially a mountain covered by tropical forest with a white sand beach and a coral reef just offshore. However, because of the rugged terrain and the dense forest, its really only possible to walk up and down... More
