First time in Lebanon, flew to Beirut - told to take "Flack Jacket". Not true, the war ended 20 years ago. Beautifull country. Cosmopolitan - very friendly. Went there for a wedding at Byblos Sur Mer. Just like France. October still 28 degrees. Sea still warm enough to swim. Stayed at the Edde Sands Resort - right on the beach...

We took advantage of a long holiday weekend and headed for lebanon. We're not much into the late night partying and wanted more of a low-key weekend which is why we chose Byblos over Beirut. We picked Edde Sands because it seemed like a good deal and I talked with some Lebanese colleagues who said it was nice.
We stayed...

This resort is one of a kind and certainly in Lebanon.
I have been here a couple of times, enjoying the experience particular in the Wellness and Spa.
The wellness menu is very elaborate and you can choose from a wide variety of treatments.
As a huge fan of the Ayurvedic way of treatment I was very pleasantly surprised that...

Exhausted by a grueling trip to Lebanon from India, I found quite a respite in this haven. The gardens, the privacy of my deck in front of our Bougainvillea room was a lovely buffer to the immense pool in front of us. The variety of restaurant was a delight as they were all better than the other, my favirite though...

I went to Eddé Sands on a business meeting, and stayed in the "é l'hotel" up the road from the resort. This 3-star hotel is OK, with big rooms and a nice breakfast area with sea view. Ask for sea facing rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors (1st floor has view on brick wall and electric wires). The service...

My friend was visiting from abroad, and we decided to stay at the Edde-Sands Resort Hotel in Byblos, which is 37km from Beirut my hometown, as part of the program I prepared for us. Byblos is famous for its Nightlife, Heritage and the lovely Port with restaurants overlooking the Sea.. Our stay gave us the oppurtunity to explore Byblos Archeological...

The resort itself is beautiful. The customer service is rude, uncaring and unprofessional. There are security guards every 20 metres to give you the illusion of security at this beach. I left my bag for 5 mins to get my friend from the water. In that time, I had $500 and all credit cards stolen from my bag. Like someone...

My wife and I stayed in Edde Sands for 6 nights in July. We stayed in one of the Deluxe rooms which was right next to one of the swimming pools. The rates for staying in these rooms are cheaper during the week than on the weekend. The room was clean, tidy, had all the mod cons you would expect...
