I stayed here as part of a 13 night Safari in Kenya and Tanzania Staff The staff at the hotel, were very poilte and helpful. The Masi warrior who welcomes you is huge and a nice person to strike a conversation with if you want to learn more abou tthe Masi people. The cleaners as usual work very hard to... More

We had our wedding at Sopa Amboseli and it was amazing! The lodge did a fantastic job of organizing for our 100+ guests. Access is easy as it is off the tarmac on the new road so good for friends and family to find it. Our guests found the rooms comfortable and the food delicious with lots of choice. The... More

The Sopa Lodge is located in the neighbourhood of Amboseli national park. The bungalows are nice, pleasant and clean. The food is very good as well as the service. In the early morning and before sunset ther is an excellent view of the Kilimanjaro! What an unique experience. It is a recommandable lodge in every way!

Rooms were lovely and clean staff friendly enough food wasnt much variety and was not buffet so you got huge plate which sometimes you feel guilty for leaving! Otherwise nice enough for safari stay.

We had a very relaxing experience with great service during our 2 day safari. Food was wonderful and people very friendly and helpful. We would go back again and spend more time enjoying the amenities at the lodge.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of a weeks safari. We had previously stayed at a Sopa Lodge in the Maasai Mara and this one was considerably better. The room was large and the bathroom OK. You needed a torch at night to go to the toilet. The room contained a safe which was good. There was... More

We stayed here for the first 2 nights on safari. Our room was very large with 2 double beds and large bathroom. There was also a nice terrace outside the room where you could sit and relax. The first night we stayed the lodge was virtually empty. There was our group of 5 staying plus only about another 10 guests... More

Well hidden in trees with Mt Kilimanjaro as a background - amazingly clear of cloud in the early morning. Quite a small hotel but liked the ambiance. Strong Masai influence with a Masai shop on site and Sam the huge Masai welcomer. Bedrooms in individual round huts along flower lined paths. Very big bedrooms, shower room with toiletries provided, and... More

Spent three nights here with friends, the staff are quite friendly. I quite enjoyed 3 days of no TV and very limited access to gizmos, their conservation of power helps one explore the park and really unwind. They do provide power three times a day for those who may need to charge electronics. I was hesitant when we realised that... More
